The condition of the high demand for soybeans in Indonesia and the low capacity of Indonesia‟s productions to meet these needs through local‟s production, has made the need for imported soybeans increased. Coupled with the joining of Indonesia in World Trade Organization (WTO), many opportunities have opened up. One of the opportunities is to sell imported soybeans to providing raw material for the manufacture of soybeans food production in Indonesia.Soybean Store Hadijanto Trisno is a hereditary company that sells imported soybeans in East Jakarta. It was founded in 1963. There are few issues that Soybean Store Hadijanto Trisno face, the biggest problems are: company doesn‟t have functional division, lack of workers and transport during peak hours, no database system. The steps that must be taken to find the root cause are doing internal and external analysis. Internal analysis will explore the company‟s strength and weakness, while external analysis will explore the external factors that can influence the company.From the analysis, it was found that the root causes of the problems are the company doesn‟t have strategy and working system in organizing every functional area.The first step of problem solving for Soybean Store Hadijanto Trisno is applying a strategic management for the company. Start with determining corporate strategy based on the weight score of internal and external factors, then it followed by determining business strategy that can be guide to developing the business and facing the problem. The last step is determining functional strategy by using TOWS Matrix. This company needs to restructure its organization as consequences implementation of strategy. Implementation of functional strategy must be started by revision of organization structure. After the revision of organization structure, it will be followed by proposing strategies implementation for every functional area.After determining the strategies, the solutions that can be given to solve Soybean Store Hadijanto Trisno‟s problem are using corporate growth strategy to improving their business, using cost focus business strategy to facing the competition, and implementing functional strategies to increasing performance and reach the efficiency. By implementing the strategic management, Soybean Store Hadijanto Trisno can develop and maintain the business and face the competition. text
