Long term shear strength parameters of mudstone such as cohesion and internal friction angle in laboratory scale can be obtained by comprehending the characteristics of creep behaviour of the mudstone samples. This research is conducted at Laboratory of Geomechanics and Mining Equipment ITB. The rock sample is mudstone from Bengalon SWD-2 area of PT. Kaltim Prima Coal in East Kalimantan.
