Interbeded thin sands, abundant coal layers, and complex structure orientation complicates interpretation this study. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Spectral decomposition analysis carried out to map the thickness variations of this thin sandstone layers and lateral geological discontinuities. Through analysis of the amplitude spectrum and phase spectrum I obtained the frequency of 43.75 Hz as the best frequency to map the thin sandstone layers thickness variations. The seismic inversion analysis is done to determine the best physical parameters that are sensitive to this thin sands layers and hydrocarbon.
