Giant panda population in the wild is only found in central China. Last cencus of panda population recorded only 1864 pandas in the wild. Giant panda status is endangered. This status means that panda is facing a high risk of extinction in the wild. In this final project it will be learnt how panda population growth can be modelled in mathematic by using logistic growth model with relocation. Relocation is solution that shown in this final project as an effective effort to increase panda population. Furthermore, based on population growth model, this final project propose some feasible simulation scenarios for panda relocation. Furthermore, it will compare each simulation scenario for panda relocation based on number of pandas that can be moved and the amount spent when relocation scenario was done. Based on the comparison, will be constructed an addition scenario of panda relocation that can be a better scenario than panda relocation scenario before. text |
