In this modern era, the flood became one of the main problems that are often experienced by people in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta. Flooding is a condition where there is a temporary immersion in water or land areas that normally are not submerged in water. The flooding in some locations exceeding almost 1meter. With the height almost 1 meter, water can enter the home front yard. In order to prevententry the water does not enter the front yard, we design door water holder system. This system uses a metal plate and using an inner tube as a source of pressure. Compressive force is given by the inner tube that expands to create a plate <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> glued to the fence and can withstand flood water from entering into the home front yard. Already conducted trials of this flood water retention system and the test results showed that pressure exerted by the tires is strong enough to hold the water. The advantages of this system is that it can be made to the width of the house and the fence can be installed and removed easyly.
