Oral administrations of these extracts at a dose of 5 gram/kg body weight to pregnant rats from day 1 to 5 days and 1 to 7 days causes significant inhibition of inplantion (P with 0,01). However when administrated on days 6-9 and days 7-9 of gentation their effects were not pronounced. The result indicated that both Temulawak and Barawali possess anti implantation activity during the early stages of pregnancy (1st to 5th day and 1st to 7th day). Moreover Bratawali showed approximately 75 % foetal loss. Whereas Temulawak did not affect the proportion implantation sites. text
