Description
Summary:The Design of Prestressed Concrete Railway Bridge At Batu Tabal – Padang Panjang – Kayu Tanam Corridor is one of the revitalization designs of 14 railway crossing bridges in the corridor. Initially this railway was used as coal mobilization from the Ombilin mine in Sawah Lunto to Bayur port of Padang. However, in the revitalization design of this railway line will be more focused to serve the passengers so it needs to be improved in terms of strength from the structural aspects and other aspects. In this Final Project, the writer will perform the design and analysis related to technical and operational aspects including design of railway component, geometric design of rail road from bridge location to Padang Panjang station, capacity analysis and forecasting of movement, station landscape design, and operating system / scheduling in GAPEKA scheme. The design of the technical and operational aspects of the rail line aims to support the revitalization project of railway bridge, corridor Kayu Tanam - Padang Panjang - Batu Tabal. In the geometric design will be designed horizontal alignment and vertical alignment of the plan trace. In the capacity analysis will be calculated the projection of passengers in the plan year and will be forecasting the movement related to the number of trains operating on each route. Furthermore, in the design of the station landscape will be determined the minimum length of the station's emplacement, the minimum requirement of the lane, and the design of switch. Then from forecasting movement, will be prepared GAPEKA as operational system.
