The delays of the dam construction project mean the increased time for <br /> <br /> completion of the dam construction project which has been mutually agreed upon <br /> <br /> on contract documents. A lot of research on factors that can affect the delay of <br /> <br /> completion of road construction and building construction projects. From several <br /> <br /> studies, only few have examined the factors affecting the project delays of the <br /> <br /> dam, while the government is currently intensively conducting the construction of <br /> <br /> reservoirs or dams. <br /> <br /> Based on data from BAPPENAS (December 2014), the construction of water <br /> <br /> buildings, especially reservoirs in 2015 s.d. 2019. The government will build 49 <br /> <br /> reservoirs in almost all of Indonesia. The target of 49 reservoirs planned by the <br /> <br /> government should be supported by human resources, materials and tools. In <br /> <br /> addition, besides, it is necessary to be a strict supervisor so that one of the main <br /> <br /> factors of succeeding is the completion of the reservoir or dam on time without <br /> <br /> any delay. <br /> <br /> Therefore, it is necessary to do research to help the parties involved in the dam <br /> <br /> construction project (owner, konsutal and contractor) about the factors that <br /> <br /> influence the delay, so it can be known more detail factors of the delay that exists. <br /> <br /> The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference for owner, konsutal <br /> <br /> and contractor and parties involved in the dam construction project in order to <br /> <br /> know and anticipate the cause of the delay, so that they can complete the work on <br /> <br /> time in the next dam project.
