This final project discusses the design of retaining wall and foundation of drill pile in apartment building in West Jakarta. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The stages of the final project is divided into two, the first part is the design of the pile foundation and the second part is the design of the retaining wall. The stages for the design of the foundation in this final project is to interpret the land data in accordance with the test results either from the test results directly or from the results of laboratory testing. Furthermore, the interpretation of the load data so that the dimensions of the foundation will be adjusted to the work load on the foundation. In addition to the foundation must be strong against the work load, the decline of the foundation is also taken into account in this final task so as not to cause the collapse of the beam in the upper structure. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Meanwhile, the stages of the final project for the retaining wall are the interpretation of the soil data, then the determination of the penetration depth of the retaining wall, furthermore the retrofitting of the retaining wall to its strength and the ability of the service to meet the requirements. In addition, retaining wall will be analyzed for dynamic load using pseudostatic method and dynamic analysis. In the analysis, both methods will be compared against the given result. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Planning of bored pile foundation and retaining walls is calculated manually and uses many software aids such as LPile, GROUP, SPColumn, SAP2000, and Plaxis 2D. The output obtained from the foundation and retaining wall planning is the dimensions and reinforcement required to support the working loads. text |
