The location of the final assignment is in the Kaliabu Final Disposal using the method of controlled landfills. However, Kaliabu FD haven’t leachate treatment plant. The purpose of this design is drawing up evaluation of the handling of the issue of leachate at Kaliabu FD, create and define the detail engineering design of leachate treatment systems at Kaliabu FD, and analyze the cost required in the design and operation of leachate treatment systems. Methodology the design done by collecting data related to the design of processing system of leachate, and analyze characteristics and quality of leachate generated Kaliabu FD. In addition, design of processing leachate system using standard engineering drawings include design criteria of processing, calculation of the dimensions of the processing units, technical specifications and tools required at each processing unit, as well as the calculation of the budget plan construction costs and operational leachate treatment systems. In analyzing the waste generation, the generation of leachate, leachate quality (pH, BOD, COD, TSS, and conductivity) and water discharge leachate generated so that can plan leachate treatment units. The units are designed is an anaerobic pond, facultative pond, aerobic pond and wetland. text
