Besides Indonesia, many Asian countries has developed porous asphalt pavement and one of them is Phillipines. <br /> <br /> <br /> The objective of this study is to evaluate and compare the laboratory performance of porous asphalt mixture with gradation of Indonesia and gradation of <br /> <br /> Phillipines. Performance of porous asphalt mixture with gradation of Indonesia and gradation of Phillipines obtained through Tests of Marshall, Asphalt Draindown, Cantabro Loss, Marshall Immersion, Permeability, Resilient Modulus and Permanent Deformation. <br /> <br /> <br /> Gradation of Indonesia is good in structural terms of mixture as indicated by the results of resilient modulus and permanent deformation. Gradation of Indonesia <br /> <br /> has more dense characteristc. Gradation of Phillipines is good in functional terms of mixture as indicated by the result of permeability. Gradation of Phillipines has <br /> <br /> low density characteristic, high air voids and requires low asphalt amount, so the mixture with gradation of Phillipines more effective in passing the water. text |
