Summary:Hot water systemin a four stars hotel building requires big energy consumption. <br /> <br /> <br /> Energy efficiency evaluation of hot water system will gives information about the <br /> <br /> <br /> system performance, so energy efficiency improvement can applied more spesific. <br /> <br /> <br /> The energy efficiency evaluation in a four stars hotel building including boiler <br /> <br /> <br /> efficiency calculation, pumps efficiency calculation, heat transfer per meter at hot <br /> <br /> <br /> water tank, and heat transfer per meter at hot water piping system. <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on those calculation,boiler 1 efficiency variated from 37,7% to 40,8%. <br /> <br /> <br /> Meanwhile,boiler 2 efficiency variated from 37,3% to 42,6%. Avarage efficiency <br /> <br /> <br /> of circulation pump is 50,04% and average efficiency of distribution pump is <br /> <br /> <br /> 61,91%. Heat transfer per meter value at hot water tank 1 is 30,07W/m and heat <br /> <br /> <br /> transfer per meter value at hot water tank 2 is 29,9W/m. Meanwhile, heat transfer <br /> <br /> <br /> value per meterat hot water piping system variated from 3,8W/m to 72W/m.If hot <br /> <br /> <br /> water pipe insulated by 25mm glasswool, heat transfer will decreased, so water <br /> <br /> <br /> temperatur will reserved.
