The condition <br /> <br /> of employee engagement divided into three: actively engaged, not engaged and actively disengaged. <br /> <br /> The actively disengaged employee is dangerous because they can spread the negativity to the others. <br /> <br /> Impact of negativity can disrupt the production lines. Moreover, in creative industry business which is <br /> <br /> have continued production process. If one production line not perform well because one employee <br /> <br /> actively disengage, it can be disrupt other process. Besides that, creative business also have another <br /> <br /> disadvantage from not engage and actively disengage employee. If a well-trained employee left the <br /> <br /> business because not engage, it will be a big loss. This research is done at Rumah Batik Komar, a <br /> <br /> famous creative business in Bandung that focus in producing Batik (traditional decorating cloth). <br /> <br /> Answering first research question about the factors that influence employee engagement according to <br /> <br /> factor analysis from Gallup Q12 are; employee recognition and employee development. The second <br /> <br /> research question is about the dominant factor. Then, from the average value calculation, dominant <br /> <br /> factor that influence employee engagement in Rumah Batik Komar is employee development. <br /> <br /> Recommendation given to the dominant factor. So, the recommendation of this project is for maintain <br /> <br /> employee development. To improve and maintain employee development, researcher recommend to: <br /> <br /> (1) Do a training and development periodically, (2) Always allocated time for sharing session although <br /> <br /> informally, (3) Monitoring and evaluation the feedback, (4) Work with the collaboration. text |
