Description
Summary:To maintain production sustainability and facilities reliability, PT Chevron Pacific

Indonesia has large number of capital projects for field development, production

sustainability and facilities reliability & improvement. The capital expense will be

paid with cost recovery process. The commencement of cost recovery starts after

Place Into Service (PIS) document is approved by SKK Migas. One of PIS

document is materials installed report or Inventory Sheet.

Processing time rate in FEBS Material Management at Pari Godown was more

than 200 days. Delay of PIS document submission will lead delay to Cost

recovery, even there is potentially rejected by SKK Migas and become sole cost.

The objective of this research is to propose the improvement on decision of

Inventory sheet submission process. From several criteria and alternatives, one of

the best decisions will be selected. To achieve business objective, the set of

questions are stated to figure out structured and systematic thinking for problem

solving and decision making process using Analytical Hierarchy Process. The

decision based on small Focus Group Discussion from expert of Material Team,

FEBS Management and one Cost Engineer. The selected decision is to develop a

clear Business Process as guideline and accountability between the teams

involved in the process. In addition it is also recommended to improve the

database system and collaboration between analysts who are experienced with

Pari team analysts with a mentoring pattern.
