Humans use water to fulfill and perform their daily activities. Ulu Gadut Water Treatment Plant (WTP) I is one of WTP in Padang City that serves two districts, it are Pauh and Lubuk Kilangan district. Based on the projection of the community's water demand for the 10 years, the operational flow rate of WTP of 80 L/s will not be sufficient. The principle of WTP uprating are based on the maximum utilization concept of existing installations and adds new units to refine and increase existing capacity. The cost required to uprating the capacity of Ulu Gadut WTP I is Rp2,307,567,100.00.
