Summary:The Office Building in Gading Serpong is planned to be consist of a high tower with 3-4 floors of basement. With the 4 floors of basement, there must be a deep excavation work which will cause an unstability of soil around the area of excavation. Without any reinforcement system it will led to a landslide. Other than that, a building with 16 floors will receive a great lateral load from earthquake and wind, so the foundation will need to be designed properly to meet the strength and service requirements from the codes. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In this final project, a diaphragm wall is designed to protect the excavation with a support of ground anchors, and is analyzed using PLAXIS 2D software. Besides, bored pile is also designed to accomodate the load of the building and is analyzed using Ensoft GROUP software. The design is based on Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for Geotechnical Engineering, SNI 2847:2013, SNI 1726:2012, and codes of TPKB DKI Jakarta. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The calculation result shows that the diaphragm wall needs to be constructed with the depth of 29 m and 0,6 m thickness. 3 anchors are needed to support the wall with 200 kN, 300 kN, and 350 kN prestress forces. The foundation is designed in 10 types with a various lenght ranges from 10-33 m and diameter of 0,6 m or 0,8 m depend on the amount of load works in every joint.
