Summary:Garuda Indonesia airline is a Full Service Carriers (FSCs) that has objective of serving customer with the best quality. Flight attendants are ones of important aspects in the commercial aviation industry because they do direct contact with the customer. Flight attendant’s work is a shift work that has limited break time, earlier departure schedule, latest arrival schedule, lack of sleep, jet lag, etc. Those condition cause complaints from flight attendants. Therefore condition and workload of flight attendants need to be designed optimally. One of the steps that is going to be done is workload analysis of flight attendants. This research has objectives of doing workload analysis related to physical, mental, and psychosocial aspects. This research uses nordic questionnaire, Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), and software 3D Static Strength Prediction Program (3DSSPP) for physical workload analysis, NASA TLX for mental workload analysis and Job Content Questionnaire (JCQ) for psychosocial workload analysis. 201 flight attendants participated in this study. <br /> <br /> <br /> The results of this research are the biggest physical complaint from flight attendants is on the parts of the back, shoulder, and neck and there is no influence from working duration to physical complaint. Next, posture analysis shows that the risky posture in the service workings of flight attendant are lifting passenger’s stuff, pulling trolley, and taking food from the trolley. Workload mental of flight attendant has high average NASA TLX which is more than 50%, that is 76,09. Next, there is influence from flight duration to mental workload that shows the kind of optimal flight is a short flight that has one to two hours duration. Psychosocial workload is in a good condition and there are decision latitude, coworker support, and supervisor support factors on flight attendant’s work.
