Cilacap is also the largest rice producer in the province of Central Java. PDSI and SPI studied its use to see the connection with the production of rice in Cilacap. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Results from this study indicate that the PDSI shows the relationship with rice production. PDSI also showed more frequency of droughts in Cilacap. PDSI drought intensity with a minimum duration of 3-month drought successively shows the relationship with anomalous rice production. text
