Description
Summary:Inland waterway is a navigable river that could be used to support the economic growth in local areas. By that reason, the purpose of this Undergraduate is to design inland waterway at Mentaya River in Central Kalimantan.

Inland waterway design requires the minimum elevation of water at the river to choose the appropriate ship which can pass through the river safely. In order to get the value of minimum water level, the minimum water discharge at the river and the lowest low water level (LLWL) are required. The other factors that are concerned in inland waterway design are the depth and the bending radius of the river. Considered those criteria, Mentaya River, in this study, could be passed by ship Ref S 1327 (with dimension 50 m long, 14 m width, and 2.35 m draft) and by ship Campine Class with dimension 63 m long, 7 m width, and 2.5 m draft.
