Significantly, the time for waste management in the Transfer Station depend on by the amount of household waste sorting. Problems appear when the scenario of total waste sorting portion of households is used to build a model of waste management system. This is due to the high costs needed for sorting of waste in the household can be done. The purpose of this final project is to build a realistic mathematical model of a waste management system. Here we construct an optimization problem with total work hours as the objective function. The constrains consist of budget limitation and resource limitation. The optimum value of the waste sorting portion of household obtained using a Linear Program. text
