This study was conducted to evaluate the usage of Black Soldier Fly <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> prepupa meal in feed formulation for Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> nursery. Experimental Diet (ED) used for treatment consisted of soybean meal, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> corn starch, Black Soldier Fly prepupa meal, wheat meal, bone meal, gelatine, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> vitamin, mineral premix, and fish oil. Each Experimental Diet (ED 1,2 &3) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> contains 0%, 10%, 20% black soldier fly prepupa meal contentration respectively. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The experiment was conducted for 28 days. ED3 obtained the highest value for <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Body Weight Increase, (5,99g± 2,90) and Spesific Growth Rate (3,32 ± 0,3)% <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Bwday—1. ED3 also obtained the lowest value for Feed Convertion Ratio, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> amounting at 1,48 ± 0,16. ED 1 obtained the highest value for Survival Rate (51 ± <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 10,18)% and Length Increase (1,41± 0,42).
