NHTSA said that Frontal Crash is accident that resulted most injuried and fatalities. <br /> <br /> When Frontal Crash happened, seat bus is not only used to sit but also as passive safety. In Europe, safety standard of a bus accident in case of a Frontal Crash has been managed by UNECE R80 in order to decrease fatalities. UNECE R80 recommend 2 types of test : dynamic test and Static test. <br /> <br /> Seat modeling is done using Autodesk Inventor 2015. Seat bus model is based on seat bus of ITB non-AC bus. Simulation using ANSYS Statical Structural. Test using static test based on UNECE R80 regulation. Parameters to be considered are the deformation of seat bus and the seat mounting strength. <br /> <br /> The result shows that seat bus is not fulfilled UNECE R80 refulation.
