SME food & beverage is one of the existing industry in Indonesia. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In this research, the observation is conducted in Bandung with an in-depth interview and questionnaire method with 30 respondents involving 10 SME owners/managers in in-depth interview observation and 30 owners/managers of SMEs in questionnaire observation (10 respondents from in-depth interview including being a respondent). The problem that arises according to the observation in SMEs food and beverage is change management and talent management. After getting the problem, the research is aimed at knowing the owner/manager of SMEs in managing change, recognizing the importance of the people within the company, and knowing the ability of the owner/manager of SMEs in adapting and developing new learning and skill. In this research conducted within case analysis. To see deeper about the problem that happened in one of UKM. Steak Ranjang is one of the respondents that author choose to use within case analysis, because Steak Ranjang have better system and management among other SMEs. Cross case analysis was consider to see the explanation of the ten SME respondents’ in-depth interview and see the red thread of the problems that arise and see why it can happen. SWOT analysis (strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) is done to see the advantages and disadvantages of food & beverage industry from internal and external side of the company. Fishbone analysis is also used to find out the root of problem from this explorative research. The analysis of the root cause found that the solution of the existing issue of change management needs to be done to help the occurrence of talent management. Therefore the system in the company concerned with human resources can be improved so that talent management will be more efficient and targeted. text
