The current economic environment and the global crisis of 2008 and 2009 significantly affect many companies paying more attention to risk management and risk. Pertamina EP is included and started implementing Enterprise Risk Management since 2009. In 2014, the measurement of maturity risk model conducted by BPKP RI shows that the company's risk management has not been maximized. This indicates a gap in the risk maturity model. <br /> <br /> The results of the analysis, reinforced by the interviews found the cause of the gap, including the implementation of risk management that is not in accordance with the principles of good corporate governance (GCG), the mitigation plan has not been fully implemented, the risk identification methodology that has not covered all possible risks and monitoring. functions that have not been properly implemented by Internal Audit. <br /> <br /> Improving strategic risk management through the implementation of enterprise risk management in accordance with GCG principles, can eliminate the cause of the realization gap and company targets. On a large scale can improve company performance. <br />
