Summary:TBBM Bandung Group Padalarang have been certified by OHSAS 18001:2007 Health and Safety Management System and has implemented OSH programs to minimize risks. However, there are still work accident in recent years. This indicates that the implementation of the programs still need to be improved. An empirical example is the existing rules of use full body harness for work at an altitude above two meters but in the implementation there are still workers who do not follow the rules so that work accidents occur. These problems can occur due to ignorance of the parties, unawareness, inconsistent or too light implementation of sanctions, top management is taken for granted, the partner is not aware. On the other hand, there is an 8E-1M method that can solve these problems holistically and integratively. However, this method is still new and not yet detailed which requires the mechanism of its implementation. This study has a purpose to provide guidace on implementation of 8E-1M for OSH issues so that company and other parties can apply it more easily. <br /> <br /> Data was collected through discussions and interviews, field observatios, and document studies of HIRADC companies. Methodology of research conducted in this study started by inventory of cases in TBBM Padalarang, then determine cases that to be assessed based on the level of risk, then from each case is estimated causes, alternative solutions, and related experts. Next selected the best alternative solution to solve the problem. A detailed solution is then developed to ensure that the selected solution is effective. In this study, the 8E-1M operability system is described at each stage to make it easier to follow
