From that area and building, Discus Hatchery is targeted to produce 15000 pieces discus fish in the first year and 18000 pieces discus fish in the following years for a 10-year the estimated project period.

The author conducts various analyzes such as marketing analysis, operations analysis, human resource analysis, and economic analysis. In economic analysis, the author uses the Net Present Value (NPV) method, the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) method, the Payback Period (PP) method, Return on Investment (ROI), and Return on Equity (ROE). Discus Hatchery projects will be feasible if the project NPV is positive, the project IRR is higher than Weight Average Cost of Capital (WACC), and the project PP is lower than estimated project period.

The results of the analyses that have been conducted are the project’s NPV shows a positive value, the project’s IRR is more significant than WACC, and the project’s PP is lower than the estimated project period. The results show the project is feasible to do. The author can conclude that opening Discus Hatchery in Bandung with 100 m2 of land and 70 m2 of a building is a project that can be done.

text
