Summary: |
Indonesia is a country with abundant oil and gas energy resources. The majority of these resources are located in the ocean. After exploration and exploitation of these energy resources, the product needs to be stored and processed. The majority of storage and processing facility are located in coastal areas. One of the storage and processing facilities is Pertamina Refinery Unit IV, located in the coastal area of Cilacap, Central Java. To facilitate the mobilization of oil and gas in that area, several jetty is constructed. To overcome the obstacles that might occur during construction, a construction process and planning is needed. Construction management aims to regulate the

implementation of construction in accordance with existing limitations, so that optimal results can be obtained, both in terms of budget cost, time effectiveness and designed quality. Construction management planning is based on

several theories, namely project management theory (POAC), construction method planning and influencing factors,

basic calculation of volume, productivity, and duration of work, duration and scheduling dependency analysis, and

project cost estimation and budgeting. To produce optimal planning, a literature study and data collection in the form of specifications and technical detail drawings are needed to calculate work volume and determination of construction methods. After identifying the details of the work needed, a work breakdown structure (WBS) is created. PDM is made to help scheduling. In this scheduling process an iteration process is carried out so that the optimal work duration is generated. After all of the above work is done, the cost is finally calculated to estimate the amount of money needed for this construction and it is presented with the S curve.
|
