Description
Summary:The use of renewable energy is very suitable in Indonesia, considering Indonesia islands of the archipelago passed by the equator. With abundant natural resources and high levels of solar radiation with an average of 4.8 kWh/m2/day solar radiation in according to Business Plan of Electricity Provission 2010-2019. But the fact is, Indonesia has 12,659 under-developed villages that does not have access electricity supply from PLN, even 2,519 villages have not been electrified at all. However, the disadvantages of a power plant using renewable energy is it has an intermittent output, depends on climate and environment. The consequence is the supply to the load becomes unfulfilled at any given time. Therefore, develop a hybrid power plant system PV-Wind Turbine-Generator is used as the solution. The site planning is in Ilmarang Village, Maluku. This area is one of the under-developed villages according to Kemendesa and needs its own off-grid power plant system. Simulation and analysis of the system using HOMER Pro software to determine the most techno economically feasible scheme by comparing the LCOE, PVSyst and PV*SOL to determine near shading losses with 3D system’s design. This research in order to support the government’s program, Indonesia Terang and Program Listrik Pedesaan.
