The subjects of the study were patients with diagnoses of bipolar affective disorder <br /> <br /> who treated outpatient at Atma Grha Clinic Bandung in June 2016 until June 2017. Data from <br /> <br /> medical record were processed based on demographic data, medication pattern, and patient <br /> <br /> compliance. The subjects in this study amounted to 467 people with 241 male patients (51.61%), <br /> <br /> 454 patients (97.22%) over 18 years, 235 patients (50.3%) unmarried status, and 356 patients (76, <br /> <br /> 23%) does not work. The diagnosis of unexplained bipolar affective disorder had a total of 377 <br /> <br /> patients (80.7%) with antipsychotic medication given to 461 patients. Haloperidol and Clozapine <br /> <br /> are the most widely used antipsychotics, 253 (54.18%) and 176 (75.69%) patients. Giving 3 <br /> <br /> combinations of drugs was found as many as 159 patients (34.05%) in bipolar patients at Grha <br /> <br /> Atma Clinic. A total of 319 (68.3%) bipolar patients were adherent to treatment, and 148 (31.7%) <br /> <br /> patients did not adhere to treatment. In bipolar patients at Grha Atma Clinic Bandung, the <br /> <br /> antipsychotic group is preferred in the bipolar disorder treatment regimen. <br /> text |
