Summary:<p align="justify">In the identification of parameters of synchronous generator, the synchronous generator of Muara Tawar PLTGU is connected with Java-Bali plant. Parameter mismatches are affected by damage, dynamic engine operation age and initial parameter setting errors. Synchronous generator parameters affect generator operation for stability and control functions. In this study the standard NERC / WECC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) was used. Some of the tests performed include open-circuit saturation, short circuit field, manual excitation step response, direct axis, quadrature axis, AVR step response, line drop compensation, partial load rejection, under excitation limiter, volt / hertz limiter, and try PSS performance. From this trial will be analyzed both quantitative and qualitative to determine and / or validation of generator parameters that have been obtained from field testing. <p align="justify">
