Synchronous generator parameters affect generator operation for stability and control functions. In this study the standard NERC / WECC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) was used. Some of the tests performed include open-circuit saturation, short circuit field, manual excitation step response, direct axis, quadrature axis, AVR step response, line drop compensation, partial load rejection, under excitation limiter, volt / hertz limiter, and try PSS performance. From this trial will be analyzed both quantitative and qualitative to determine and / or validation of generator parameters that have been obtained from field testing. <p align="justify"> text
