Summary: | The establishment of PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) Company can not be separated from

the wishes of the founders of this nation so that the country can have an aircraft industry

capable of meeting national needs for both civil and military needs.

As a company that is required to provide benefits in managing its operational activities the

company must have tools to control performance or performance management. The condition

of PTDI after the implementation of the Restructuring and Revitalization (RR) program

shows positive developments by achieving good liquidity and can finance contract programs,

healthy capital and bankable structures, contract acquisitions and increased sales, increase

production capacity, build cooperation through strategic alliances, to achieve operating profit

and net income. but from the financial (profit margin) and operating aspects can not reach the

expected target mainly due to high interest cost of working capital loan and not yet fully able

to meet the delivery of the product on time. To solve this problem the company has issued a

performance management system policy as a tool to measure company performance in

December 2016.

The authors suspect that the implementation of performance management system is currently

not perfect so that it needs improvement. For that reason, it is necessary to evaluate and refine

and redesign the performance management system with Cascading Key Performance

Indicators (KPIs) using the Balance Scorecard Method. The implementation plan for

improved performance management will be conducted by conducting workshops organizing

the key performance indicators of each work plan of each organizational unit by involving all

structural officials and assisted by subject matter experts who are planned to begin in the

second week of June 2018 and completed by the end of July 2018. |
