Summary: |
White oyster mushroom is one of food source and kind of mushroom that has high demand from Indonesia’s market or even the world. Eventhough from economical is profitable but the white oyster mushroom production is still fluctuating. One of the factor that can cause the issue above is the lack of ability in oyster mushroom to absorbs nutrients from the growth media. One of the solution to solve it from biological aspect is by addition with cellulolytic microbes to the growth media. In this study, optimization was done through the induction of Ochrobactrum pseudogrignonense inoculum on growth media/baglog. This research uses Factorial Complete Random Design consist of 2 factors, such as concentration factor with variation of 10-2 (P1), 10-3 (P2) and 10-4 (P3); and Inoculum Carrier Media Factor with variation of Aquadest (A1) and 0.85% NaCl solution (A2), then there were 6 variations of combination and control treatment with 15 replications. The data were tested by One-Way ANOVA Test and Duncan Multiple Range Test with 95% confidence level (α = 0,05). The results of the 2month observation period showed significant differences in the parameters of Dry Weight, Pileus Diameter, Stipe Length, Harvest Intensity and Biological Efficiency. The treatment of inoculum with 10-4 concentration on Aquadest carrier media (P2A1) showed a significant difference of dry weight such as 10.89 gram / baglog / month (BER 2.14%) and on the treatment of 10-6 concentration on 0.85 % NaCl solution (P3A2) such as 10.4 gram / baglog / month (BER 2.1%). Parameter of Harvest Intensity was significantly different in the treatment of 10-4 and 10-6 concentrations on 0.85% NaCl solution (P2A2 and P3A2) and the treatment of 10-4 concentration on Aquadest (P2A1) sequentially were 2.3 times harvest; 1.8 times the harvest and 1.7 times the harvest. Treatment of inoculum with 10-6 concentration on 0.85% NaCl solution (P3A2) was significantly different and has the best result on Stipe Length (7,26 cm) and Pileus diameter
(10.82 cm). Based on the result of the research, the variation of concentration and inoculum carrier media on the induction of O.pseudogrignonense inoculum can increase oyster mushroom productivity.
|
