to information coming from abroad, so that gradually the things that lead to the tradition <br />

culture fade away. The generation that will be very influential in the next generation is the <br />

Generation Z. So Generation Z is targeted to convey the importance of Indonesian young <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
generation to know the culture of Indonesia. <br />

Decoration is using qualitative-experimental method approach which is a combination of <br />

several variables, namely: Generation Z which is the target of research, street style as medium <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
mediator between Z generation and batik Belanda, and batik Belanda used as an object that <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
describes the richness of Indonesian culture that want to be introduced. <br />
<br />

The idea of this research is to use the visual of Indonesian culture heritage that is the batik <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Belanda motive which will be transformed and collaborated with the street style fashion. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The goal is to produce the design of the work in the form of a fashion collection that is <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
contemporary and there are aspects of cultural values that could attract attention and increase <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
the spirit of the younger generation in recognizing the culture of Indonesia. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The design result could be well produced and sold, documented with a great concept and <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
incorporated into social media to introduce the idea of the design result. So that the public can <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
see and try to know what the philosophy of the design. |
