However, trailer trucks only provide landside transportation at the time. As demand of trips increases, an alternative to the current roadbased transportation mode is essential to further tackle the challenge in order to reduce the congestion on road network around the ports. An elevated railroad for freight trains is generating considerable interest in terms of solving the problem. Therefore, an elevated railroad design that connects the two ports along with train operation plan and feasibility study are carried out in this publication. The process is begun by forecasting need up to year 2069. Then, a technical specification design is conducted, which includes railroad geometry, railroad component, and station in accordance to complying codes. Rolling stocks, routes, and system are planned as the operational aspects of train. In the end, a feasibility study is performed to analyze the potential benefit of design implementation in the field. It will be reviewed from several factors such as investment cost, operating cost, ideal fare scenario, and financial study of those components. The findings of the study indicate that the expected railway tonnage is up to 26.258.952,75 ton/year, making it a class I railroad on 1067 mm gauge. Rolling stocks include locomotive CM20EMP and 54 Ton Flat Wagon. The railroad is designed double track with maximum speed of 100 km/h, track length of 9,455 km, minimum radius of 600 meter, two-centerline tracks distance of 4 meter, and constant track elevation of 17,5 meter. Components used include type R-54 rail and type W 12 Ex-Austria switch. For the station, a moderate classification platform is selected with length of 590 meter. Train will operate for 20 hours in 50 trips total each day. The recommended fare to satisfy financial criteria ranges from lower limit of Rp 58.000,00 to upper limit of Rp 165.000,00 per kilometer in 2020 and increases 5% every two years. <p align="justify"> text |
