The Timur Nusantara Magazine product line successfully achieved sales of 180 copies per month, but the Malaqbi.com product line went dormant and decreased performance. The condition of market competition (external), as well as the development of new product, decreasing performance of one of the company product, and the lack of resources (internal), encourage the need for business model innovation at PT Malaqbi Timur Nusantara in order company to remain competitive in the market. <br /> <br /> Business model innovation in this research developed by using business model canvas with ideation technique. The business model innovation process begins by mapping the current business models using interview techniques, then do the SWOT analysis for the company, and analyzing the current business models using SWOT business model canvas. The analysis results of the company's and business models' current condition than used in the development stage of the business model ideas that developed with the business model's epicenter approach. The business model ideas that developed in the ideation stage then evaluated—combined, developed, and eliminated—to develop the final business model idea. <br /> <br /> The results of this research, PT Malaqbi Timur Nusantara in order company remain competitive in the market must continue to run both its current product line, Malaqbi.com and Timur Nusantara Magazine. Focus being a tourism information media in West Sulawesi, using CMS technology for website development, establishing good relations with advertisers and magazine readers, and optimizing the use of resources to improve the quality of products/ services and increase revenue streams. text |
