Summary: | Production activities in CINTA Company (real name of company is disguised due to confidentiality) are using a production pump or commonly called ESP (Electrical Submersible Pump). ESP installed in CINTA Company belong to the vendor A and B. Based on the current procurement contract, there are two vendor that supplying the 3 package pump (package Alpha,Beta,and Charlie) in CINTA Company. The problem in this case is the ESP procurement contract will be expired at the end of 2018 simultaneously with the CINTA Company expired procurement contract in Indonesia in September 2018. <br />

The methods of this research are of Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) that is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) using 5 criteria ; time, cost, technical, operatiomn, and operation support, 11 subcriteria ; procurement contract preparation, company expired, termination cost, ESP price, ESP specification, ESP reliability, offshore experience, crew experience, safety, ESP warehouse, and ESP transportation, and 2 alternatives, extend the procurement contract and create a new procurement contract. The weight of the criteria is determined by using pairwise comparison matrices of the AHP. Beside, the qualitative hystorical data also support the AHP result combining with the FGD (Focus Group Disscussion) between the expert also the unstructural interview between the expert. <br />
<br />
The best decision are extending the current procurement contract for one year. The results of the study will be given to the management as a consideration for the determination of the procurement contract in this year. |
