In this <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> reasearch studied the interaction between complex with Schiff base ligand, Cu(II)˗salisilaldehide <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> dinitrophenylhydrazone(SDPH) and DNA plasmid pET˗32b in vitro. The ligand SDPH has been <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> successfully synthesized by the condensation reaction between salicylaldehyde and <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 2,4˗dinitrophenylhydrazone, which showed a functional group C=N peak in the infrared spectrum. In the <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 1H NMR spectrum we observed proton signals at a shift value of 11,57 ppm (N˗H); 9,95 ppm (O˗H); 8,9 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ppm (C=N); and 7,0˗7,9 ppm (aromatic) corresponding to the structure of the SDPH. Cu(II)˗SDPH <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> complexes have been obtained by the reaction of Cu(C2H3O2)2.H2O and SDPH ligands by a ratio of 1: 1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> in the ethanol solvent. The coordination link between the Cu(II) ions and the SDPH ligand is indicated by <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> the peak shift of the ˗C=N functional group and the peak loss of the ˗OH group of the SDPH ligand. The <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Cu(II) ˗SDPH complex has a maximum absorption at 381 nm and 519 nm in acetonitryl, 495 nm in <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> DMSO, 408 nm and 521 nm in BaSO4 solid and is a paramagnetic complex with a magnetic moment <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> value of 1,98 BM. The results of the study of the bioactivity of the cleaving of DNA by Cu(II)˗SDPH <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> with variations in concentration shows that the complex can cleave DNA, which is shown by the <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> percentage of form II and III which increase as concentration increases.The Cu(II)˗SDPH complex has <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> the potential as an anticancer.c text |
