Primary data was gained through field observation and then was supported by petrography, micropaleontology, and geological structure analysis. Melange Complex is the oldest unit in research area formed by subduction which occured in Cretaceous – Paleocene along Karangsambung – Meratus belt. In Eocene, Claystone Unit was deposited unconformably above Melange Complex by landslides mechanism. Clay Breccia unit then was deposited conformably above Claystone Unit in Early Oligocene – Early Miocene. Volcanic activity in South part <br /> <br /> of Java in Oligocene causing volcanic product deposition of Tuff and Volcanic Breccia Unit in Early Miocene - Middle Miocene which are conformably lay above Clay Breccia Unit. Pyroclastic Breccia Unit then unconformably deposited above previous units in Pliocene – Pleistocene. Erosion and transportation of previous rocks causing unconform deposition of Alluvial Unit above other units until now. Characteristic of Melange Complex is very unique which is is signed by boudin and slaty cleavage structure, and marked by the presence of metamorphic rock, ocean floor rock (ophiolit), and deep ocean sedimentary rock. This complex tectonically in contact with paleogene rocks above it, make it possible to be exposed in the surface. Paleogene rocks which are consist of Claystone Unit and Clay Breccia Unit is signed by specific characteristic of scaly structure on its clay matrix. Geological structure in research area is consist of folding structure with West – East axial direction, reverse fault with West – East direction, and strike-slip fault with Northwest – Southeast to Northeast – Southwest direction. Those stuctures formed on Melange Complex and other sedimentary rocks units which lies above.<p align="justify"> text
