One of the projects of PT Len Industry is SMFR project. <br /> <br /> SMFR (Radio Frequency Monitoring System) is a solution for monitoring, controlling and <br /> <br /> controlling radio frequency users in order to optimize the implementation of radio frequency <br /> <br /> spectrum, PT Len Industry held cooperation with Minister of Communication and <br /> <br /> Technology in SMFR Project. In maintenance process of SMFR project, PT Len Industry <br /> <br /> frequently facing delay problems that cause by ineffective communication within <br /> <br /> stakeholders. <br /> <br /> Objective of this research is to identify communication problem faced by PT Len Industry in <br /> <br /> SMFR maintenance project, to analyze the communication condition in SMFR maintenance <br /> <br /> projects and to propose communication strategy that can be implemented by PT Len Industry <br /> <br /> in order to create effective communication process to reduce delay problems.Tree cause <br /> <br /> analysis is used to find to root causes of the issue, author also conduct FGD with several <br /> <br /> internal stakeholder that has experience with SMFR maintenance project. While, several <br /> <br /> theories related with communication media ((Media Synchrocitiy Theory), stakeholder <br /> <br /> analysis are used to support author in determining root problems in SMFR maintenance <br /> <br /> project. <br /> <br /> From the analysis result, author found several issue such as time consuming approval <br /> <br /> process, company policy, lack of technology usage in communication tools, gap knowledge <br /> <br /> in team member that become cause of delay problems. After analyzing the current condition <br /> <br /> in SMFR maintenance project, author proposed to select communication media by <br /> <br /> stakeholder preferences, improve intranet system as knowledge sharing media and better <br /> <br /> communication media for internal stakeholder of PT Len Industry, and contains the <br /> <br /> improvement on policy, training and fulfills the aspects related with the root causes. <br /> <br /> Implementation of the strategy is done within a period of up to one year. By implementing <br /> <br /> the expected strategy, PT Len Industry expected to reduce number of delay problems, able to <br /> <br /> build trust within the client and increased its revenue. text
