| Summary: | The adsorption and reiease process of indomethacin and diclofenac sodium by copolymer ammoniomethacrylate (Eudragit RL`''') at various pH values around the pKa of each substance had been studied. The percentage of both substances adsorbed by Eudragit RL* at pH below the pKa values of substances was higher than those at pH above the pKa. The adsorption of substances by copolymer was not affected by the pKa. The addition of sodium chloride as much as hundred times of the adsorbed subtances increased the release of indomethacin up to 34% and the addition of sodium chloride as much as thousand times of the adsorbed substances released 30% of indomethacin and 10% of diclofenac sodium from the copolymer.
