Malinau 410 is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that uses a 2-stroke engine with carburetor system. Carburetor system is going to make the UAV engine

experience a shortage of fuel when the air pressure of the enviroment is thin. Therefore, UAV need to change the carburetor into electronic fuel injection (EFI) to inject fuel. The EFI system itself is controlled by using engine control unit (ECU). The ECU will control both the duration and adjust the timing of the injector.

ECU needs both input form of the enviroment and machine parameters to control the process. The parameters are read by using several sensors, which is Manifold Air Temperature Sensor (MAT), Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor (CHT), Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP), Hall Effect Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor, and Lambda Sensor. MAT sensor is used to measure the temperature of the enviroment, the CHT sensor is used to monitor the engine cylinder temperature, MAP is used to measure the ambient air pressure, Hall Effect is used to determine

the engine speed, TPS is used to monitor the throttle position, and lambda is used to measure the air to fuel ratio (AFR) in the exhaust chamber. Lambda sensor is

also used for feedback of the system. Sensors are designed in hardware and software perspective and also will be calibrated and tested to optain the optimum

sensors performance. The data will be sent and processed using Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller.
