Sport centre is an integrated sports area. Generally, sport centre is used by athletes to practice (sports as an achievement). However, the society also must be able to get the benefit from the sport centre facilities to fulfill their bodily needs (sports as a recreation). So, the designation of this sport centre must be able to be used by both of athletes and society as visitors of the sport centre. Nowadays, sports has become a part of urban citizens’ lifestyle. Because of that, the design process creates a design that can coordinate visitors’ social activities, for example: gathering, eating, relaxing after exercise, and many more. text |
