INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/32222 Uric acid was a major product of purine metabolisme in the human body that mostly excreted through urine and in very small portion through sweat. Deficiency or excess levels of uric acid indicates some diseases such as gout, hyperuricemia, Leysh-Nyan disease, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, liver disease, and kidney. Analysis of uric acid levels in urine can be performed using voltammetry method. In this study, the working electrode used was Carbon Paste Electrodes (CPE) modified with molecularly imprinted poly (3-aminophenol) (MIP). Carbon paste modified with MIP was made using cyclic voltammetry (CV) technique in solution mixture of 20 mM 3-aminophenol monomer, 10 mM uric aid 0,1 M NaOH, in potential range of -0,2 V - 1 V, and scan rate of 100 mV / s. 0,1 M phosphate buffer pH 7 was used as supporting electrolyte for uric acid determination. Calibration curve was linear at concentrations 10-500 ?m with a detection limit of 3,15 ?M. Determination of uric acid sample in urine samples using the electrode showed good accuracy. text |
