Operating temperature range is 110 - 150 °C and water is used as working fluid. In this research, cooper tube is used, where heat pipe outside diameter is 8 mm, 1 mm thick, 400 mm long. Stainless Steel SS304 wire screen, mesh 50 is used as wick, inserted inside pipe to provide better liquid transportation from condensor to evaporator. Electric heater is used as heat source. Heat removal from condensor is provided by either natural convection or forced convection. In this research, the best performance of heat pipe has been reached at filling ratio 0,19 where heat transfer rate is 11 times higher than that of cooper solid pipe text
