| Summary: | Data has become one of the most important aspect in human life, one of such data is data about position. Position usually determined using GPS, but GPS unable to work without connection to satellite. To solve this problem, we need another positioning system on such place. One of the method used to determine position is with WiFi. There are various method using WiFi. WiFi method that has been evaluated are WiFi Fingerprinting and WiFi Lateration. The 2 method that has been evaluated are extremely simple and easy to implement without the need to put many support on the hardware. Experiment has been done on indoor to directly evaluate the performance of the method with data taken on various reference point. Average resolution of method that has been evaluated are 3.38 meter on Fingerprint and 8.68 meter on Lateration. The effect of range between reference point when the range are 3, 6, and 9 meter has been evaluated and the average resolution are 3.76, 4.46, and 4.94 meter. |
