REVIEW ON ALGEBRAIC GEOMETRI CODES AS A GENERALIZATION OF REED-SOLOMON CODES
Reed-Solomon codes as MDS codes are eective codes since it attain Singleton bound. We generalize these codes to algebraic geometry codes. With some modication, algebraic geometry codes can be used to construct asymptotically good codes
