Social media can be used as a data source for networking community aspirations as well. But the problem is that the quality of information produced is still not comparable to the information generated from recess activities. So this research will design Information Extraction Services that can be implemented on an existing system. This service retrieves data from social media using an API which also functions to authenticate users. The data taken from social media will be processed further through stages consisting of several functions, namely authentication, data cleansing, the process of finding and rediscovering community aspirations (Information Retrieval), Data Warehousing, information classification and visualization. Research has succeeded in designing Information Extraction Services with the above functions that can be implemented on an existing system. These functions have been tested and accepted with a good user perspective, namely the average value of System Usability Scale (SUS) 74.58 given by the respondent. Thus from the perspective of the legislative members the information generated from this service can be used by the DPRD as a complement to the task of capturing community aspirations. text
