CSR is a concept has similar key points about the role of company to fulfill their responsibility to the stakeholders that also align with business strategy to maintain the company’s benefit. In order to fulfill company’s responsibility, Star Energy Geothermal Darajat (SEGD) create Desa Caang program as one of their CSR programs. Desa Caang is a program that bring out the electricity installation as its main purpose, however this program also involves other aspects such as economy, education, environment, and social. Desa Caang program is really potential to answer several social problems in targeted areas and also contribute to society development. Therefore, SEGD has important role to measure the effectiveness of the program through some triangulation methods that consist of quantitative, qualitative and literature review. The findings of this research show that Desa Caang is effective to give impact for the society focusing on social, education, environment and also social aspsect. However, SEGD still need to define their effectiveness measurement in order to improve the program to give better impact for the society.
