Summary: | Soap is essentially the result of reactions between fatty acids and strong base substances which will produce soap and glycerin compounds. Glycerin is a humectant that serves to maintain skin moisture by absorbing transepidermal water. In commercial soaps, the glycerine is eliminated to sale separately or added to products with higher economic value such as lotions. Commercial soap is containing synthetic chemicals that can interfere human health, especially skin. Syntetic chemicals are commonly used are Paraben, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, and synthetic fragrance. In contrast, Natural soap is made from natural ingredients providing better benefits for skin nutrition and has minimal risk to skin health. Natural soaps have many types according to their ingredients. Kefir natural black soap is made from natural ingredients such as kefir, plantain peel ash, virgin olive oil, grapeseed oil, palm oil, and coconut oil. Kefir natural black soap has antioxidant and anti-inflamatory content derived from its natural ingredients.
This study aims to determine the effect of quality perception, health awareness, product security, product physical characteristics and price perceptions of natural soap purchase interest. This research uses survey method and data collection using questionnaire. The population in this study is female consumers who have tried natural soap products. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method with 148 people, then the data were analyzed using multiple regression test on SPSS. The results of this study indicate that the health awareness variable, physical characteristics of the product, and the price of each influence on the purchase of natural soap. While the perception of quality and safety of each product does not affect the interest of purchasing natural soap. Variable of health awareness, physical characteristic of product, and price influence 39,2% to the interest of purchasing natural soap.
Another purpose of this study is to determine the perception of female consumers to natural soap products kefir blacksoap. Natural soap kefir blacksoap that has passed the test of Indonesian National Standard (SNI) is tested on the respondent to know the desired physical characteristics of natural soap kefir blacksoap. The data were collected by interviewing each female respondent amounting to 50 people. Physical characteristics in question are colors, shapes, scents, textures and

foams, packaging, logos, brands, and prices. Physical characteristics of natural soap kefir blacksoap desired respondents, among others, natural soap with a box shape, white gray with marble style, has a fragrant aroma of lemon grass, the amount of foam according to the sample, and fine texture. Logo concept used is brown logo concept with plant image, fibrous paper packaging, branded Sopa Soapery, with price Rp. 35.000,00. The effect of the natural kefir blacksoap on the respondent's skin that can remove pimples and blackheads on the face, but does not remove the skin's natural moisture.
Furthermore, to know the feasibility of natural effort kefir blacksoap. The economic, social and environmental aspects are analyzed, including technical aspects, legal aspects, public attitudes, business expansion plans, production processes, raw material aspects, management aspects, socioeconomic and environmental aspects, and financial feasibility analyzes such as NPV calculation, Profitability Index, IRRm and Payback Period. The result of economic, social and environmental feasibility analysis is analysis of market aspect, raw material, technical, management, law, and social economy and environment, effort of making natural soap kefir blacksoap feasible to be implemented. The result of financial feasibility analysis of natural blacksoap soap business is feasible to run. This can be seen from the results of financial analysis showed that NPV amount is Rp. 26.3.611.394,81 (NPV> 0), IRR is 25.73% (IRR> interest rate), PI is 1.86 (PI> 1), and Payback Period is 4 years 9 months.
This study shows that health awareness, product physical characteristics, and price perception affect the interest of purchasing natural soaps. The importance of the physical characteristics factor of the product was applied to the development of kefir blacksoap natural soap products with box shape attributes, white gray with marble pattern, having fragrant lemongrass aroma, amount of foam according to the sample, and fine texture. The concept of a brown logo with images of plants, fibrous paper packaging, branded Sopa Soapery, at a price of Rp. 35.000,00. The feasibility analysis of natural soap business of kefir blacksoap is declared feasible which is shown with NPV of Rp. 263,611,394.81 (NPV> 0), IRR of 25.73% (IRR> interest rate), PI of 1.86 (PI> 1), and Payback Period for 4 years 9 months. |
